Email & SMS Campaigns

Use Marketing > Email Campaigns and Marketing > SMS Campaigns for outbound campaign work. Use Marketing > Email Templates for reusable email designs.

Availability

Campaign and template tools are Pro-level marketing features. Confirm access in Settings > Billing before planning a campaign launch.

How The Pieces Fit Together

  1. clean the target audience in Contacts
  2. confirm sending or messaging setup in Settings > Integrations
  3. create or select an email template when needed
  4. draft the campaign
  5. review copy, audience, links, and compliance details
  6. test on internal records
  7. launch when an owner approves the send
  8. review performance in Marketing or Ads Studio

When To Use Campaigns vs Workflows

Use campaigns for planned audience sends.

Use workflows for trigger-based follow-up, such as reacting to a form submission or contact state change.

Use agents to draft, research, summarize, or prepare recommendations before a person approves the final campaign.

Admin Checklist Before Launch

  • audience is correct
  • unsubscribe and compliance requirements are covered
  • sending account is connected
  • SMS consent rules are respected
  • links and tracking are tested
  • internal test records worked
  • the final send has an accountable owner

SMS Notes

SMS should be used carefully. Confirm consent, message type, timing, and compliance rules before launching. If A2P setup is required, review it in the voice or messaging setup surfaces before sending texts at scale.
